The SAP basis is often perceived as a brake within projects or when introducing new technologies. This is partly due to the late consultation of the SAP basis on the issues of technical feasibility as well as the integration of new technologies and applications into the existing system landscape. By implementing the recommendations, the SAP basis is repositioning itself in parts within the IT organisation. The SAP basis has a clearly defined self-understanding (inward-looking perception) as well as a clear positioning and a defined task area within the IT organisation (outward-facing perception), as shown in Figure 5. By integrating the SAP basis into the development of the IT strategy, the digitisation strategy and a clear communication with the CIO, the SAP basis has the opportunity to deal with technologies and topics at an early stage. As a result, the SAP basis is prepared for requests from business units or other IT departments and has the opportunity to approach them proactively. The SAP basis is supported by an IT service and IT product catalogue, which describes the scope of the SAP basis. For internal communication and communication with external service providers, as well as other suppliers, outsourcing partners or outsourcing partners and cloud service providers, there are up-to-date and meaningful documentation and process descriptions. For the control, measurement and monitoring of external partners, Service Level Agreements and meaningful key figures are also available.

Technical developments are progressing at high speed. Thus, the term "blockchain" is not unique to digital currencies. Instead, there is talk of a technology that will disrupt existing products, services, and even business models. In order to better assess the potential and impact of blockchain technology, various companies from different technologies and, in particular, financial sectors have joined forces in consortia in recent years: The R3 Consortium, which is primarily a consortium of about 80 financial sector companies (UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, ...). The IoT Consortium, which includes Bosch Ltd, Cisco Systems Inc, is investigating how blockchain technology can be used to secure and improve IoT networks. More than 120 financial, banking, IoT and industrial companies have joined the Hyperledger (Enterprise Ethereum Alliance) consortium. Enterprise Ethereum Alliance with about 500 startups, companies and academic institutions from a wide range of fields. Read more in my next blog post ....
Very good conceptual skills in system design and system integration
It is essential to define the role to be played within the company. STEP 4: DETERMINATION OF THE TARGET GROUP In this step, the target group of the service is defined and described in detail, e.g. by means of a letter. It will also discuss future target groups which may be of interest in the future. By defining a target group within a company, the SAP basis decides for whom the services and IT products should be delivered. It also makes sense to identify and describe future target groups (e.g. specialist areas) within the framework of a transformation of the SAP basis. STEP 5: POSITIONING This step will position the service on the market and also position the competitors in the relevant segment.

SAP Basis is the foundation of any SAP system. You can find a lot of useful information about it on this page: www.sap-corner.de.

Protect: CodeProfiler for ABAP protects the SAP system from internal and external attacks from the first day of deployment. The ABAP firewall can be set up within a very short time and immediately checks every new transport request when it is released. Optimize: The audit function of CodeProfiler for ABAP specifically determines which programs are most threatened and should therefore be cleaned up first. In the long term, CodeProfiler for ABAP supports the automated correction of all findings and thus enables the timely closure of security gaps in all programs.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" makes it easier and quicker to complete a number of SAP basis tasks.

The CodeProfiler can also be used for regular review cycles.

If the *.ATT files are present, run only RSEPSUPL in the target system.

The freeware Scribble Papers is a "note box" in which all kinds of data can be stored. It takes in typed texts as well as graphics and entire documents. The data is then organised in folders and pages.
