SAP BASIS AND DATABASE SERVICE
Activation of the email function for all events in the Security Audit Log
The application layer is the core of an R/3 SAP Basis system. This layer communicates in both directions, to the presentation layer and to the database layer. The application programs on the application servers request the required data from the database layer, process it, prepare it for the user and pass it on to the presentation layer. Data that the user enters in the SAP GUI is passed on to the database via the application servers.

This enhances the capabilities of SAP HANA base administrators and increases the level of service they should provide. Your Basis team can more easily fine-tune your data replication strategy to meet demanding disaster recovery and high availability standards.
SAP Security for Administrators
The basic SAP Basis operation includes the operational readiness of the SAP system, management of system changeability, configuration and administration of system profiles, analysis of system failures, operation and monitoring of technical interfaces, scheduling and monitoring of SAP standard jobs, and much more. The optional services as an extension include activities whose implementation and frequency depends on the existing system environment and which can be optionally booked (client copies, implementation of client transports and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copies, etc.). These include performing release upgrades, installing enhancement packages, adapting new printer types, device drivers or character sets, and much more.

SAP Basis is the foundation of any SAP system. You can find a lot of useful information about it on this page: www.sap-corner.de.

For more information about the lowest support package level for SAP ABA and SAP Basis to install an SAP Basis Plug-In, see the SAP Service Marketplace. For more information about the lowest support package level for the corresponding SAP R/3 plug-in, see the SAP Service Marketplace. This level depends on the release of SAP R/3 or SAP R/3 Enterprise.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" makes many tasks in the area of the SAP basis much easier.

A standardisation strategy can then be developed, defined and implemented.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? Scribble Papers is a "note box" that makes this very easy.
